Biannual Bibliothon – Day 3 – The Villain’s Synopsis

Hey everyone!

I hope you’re enjoying this so far – I’m loving writing! Today’s challenge is hosted by Dominique at Pirates and Pixie Dust , so check her blog out and let’s get started!

So, I thought about my favourite books, and realised that, for the majority of them, the ‘villain’ is an organisation or government. So I thought it’d be cool to show this through one of my all-time favourite, albeit harrowing, stories – Only Ever Yours by Louise O’Neill.

We run their lives. They are made. Eves don’t have the power to choose. It’s the men. The eves will become companions – devoted to their man, controlled by them, concubines – objects solely existing for the men, or chastities – misfits, to teach the next generation of eves. We know what’ll happen to isabel. But freida – she’s a mystery. Not sleeping. Thankfully, not eating. How far will she go to get the life she’s always dreamed of?

So, that’s Only Ever Yours. I don’t think I’ve done it justice, but please read it!

Lots of love,

Libby xx
